This page lists the main audio equipment available at Neuadd Dyfi, covering mixing consoles, microphones, and supporting gear used for theatre, music, and general events.


🎚️ Mixing Consoles

Device Location Description
Allen & Heath QU-32 Pigeon Loft Digital mixing console primarily used for pantomime productions. Available for other large productions but not frequently used. Connected via digital snake to stage rack.
Allen & Heath AR2412 Stage rack 24-input / 12-output AudioRack connected to the QU-32 over Cat5e/6 (digital snake).
Yamaha MG12 XU Next to stage Primary mixing console used for most productions. Compact analogue mixer with built-in USB interface.

🎤 Microphones

🎭 Radio Microphones

Trantec S5.3 / S5.5 12 Headset Primary wireless system for panto productions. Each pack has a headset mic; beltpack transmitters are labelled by number.
Sennheiser G4 Several Handheld / Beltpack Used for guest speakers, singers, or additional wireless channels.

⚠️ Always check frequencies before use — systems are programmed within the shared licence-free band (863–865 MHz) or on venue-assigned licensed frequencies.
